This course is designed for all members of staff to gain a greater understanding of fire safety in the workplace.


To ensure all personnel are fully conversant with the procedures to be adopted in the event of discovering a fire and the actions to be taken on hearing the fire alarm system.


  • Have a basic understanding of the legal requirements regarding fire safety
  • Know the procedures for summoning assistance
  • Be aware of procedures in the event of an emergency evacuation
  • Understand the importance of good housekeeping

A practical training session is also included in this course which will give delegates an opportunity to use fire extinguishers or fire blankets on a live fire scenario, using our clean burn environmentally friendly fire simulator.

Support literature will be given to delegates during and on completion of the training.
On successful completion of the course delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.
